Cara Simmons has always enjoyed writing. Even as a little girl, she often wrote short stories and collected them in a story folder. The stories became longer and more complicated as she grew older and her ideas became more creative. The plots often involved orphans, something Mrs. Simmons always had a fascination with.

As the second oldest of six children, she also had many opportunities to tell her stories to her younger siblings. The neighbor children and children she babysat always asked for a story when she was around. From monkey tales to stories of kidnappings, Mrs. Simmons wove exciting adventures that thrilled her listeners. After many years of waiting for God’s timing in publishing her first book, she is very excited to finally share some of the stories children have enjoyed for so many years.

Cara Simmons is a wife and mother of five beautiful gifts from God. She is currently homeschooling four of them, which makes it challenging to find the time to write. Her burden is to create wholesome reading material for children of all ages, which is exciting, builds character, and encourages their love and trust in God.
